Terms and Conditions

Mimic strives for good behaviour from all of its youth members; both for the safety and wellbeing of the members and leaders and to ensure all members achieve their full potential. Members are expected to be polite and respectful to all those around them.

All forms of bullying will not be tolerated. Any parent who feels their child may be bullied is encouraged to notify a Mimic team member.

Smoking and the use of alcohol are not permitted anywhere within the grounds of our teaching venues whilst attending classes.

In the event of bad weather conditions, we may have to cancel sessions. Please check the Facebook page, emails or our website to check if sessions are running or not. If your session is cancelled we will aim to reschedule. We will not issue refunds for cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.

We reserve the right to exclude a member from sessions and/or performances if they do not adhere to these terms and conditions.

Guest speakers, cover teachers and any leader aside from Kim Southey at Mimic are independent of the company and are not employees

All fees are strictly payable in advance and no members may participate in class if fees are not paid. There is no reduction for any weeks missed during the term.

Notification invoices will be sent prior, to all parents/guardians for the following term indicating payment before the next term commences – if a reminder must be sent there will be a £10.00 administration charge for this

When working towards a production, if a student has poor attendance, an email may be sent requesting that attendance improves. If fails to improve the member is at risk of losing their role in the upcoming production

Members are expected to arrive to classes on time

Sensible clothing and appropriate footwear must be worn every week – this is for the safety of the member during physical activity

Mimic Youth Theatre groups will never exceed a maximum of 25 students to ensure the health, safety and quality of learning for each individual

Members are obliged to take care of their own belongings at Mimic and the company can accept no liability to lost or damaged belongings

Mimic will from time to time take photographs and film footage during class or rehearsal time for use in marketing and publicity material. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed, please let Mimic know in writing

The fees do not include company clothes such as hoodies and t shirts.

It is the parents/guardians responsibility to update Mimic on any changes in contact details and medical conditions
